War Horse Movie Review

'War horse' is a historcal, fictional and a family movie which all aged people are able to enjoy watching. Steven Spielberg who is the director of this movie has fashioned Michael Mourpurgo's best-selling novel, which also has the same name 'War Horse'. The cast include Jeremy Irvine as Albert Narracott, a young teenage boy who is the son of a tough West Country farmer Ted, played by Peter Mullan and Rose is a tough-minded mother played by Emily Watson and Tom Hiddleston as Captain James Nicholls who is the British officer who has a wide heart for Albert and Joey as the horse, which is a leading character even though he's not a human.

This story begins from Devon, England where the Narracotts family lives. There is a horse auction in the village where Ted's eye faces on a horse called Joey. He buys Joey, a Throughbred as much as 30 guineas even though he doesn't need him. He brings Joey home and was immediately drawn to the animal. Albie (Ted's son) also witness the birth of the foal. However, Rosie (Ted's wife) is outraged and she asks Ted to take him back to the auction where he bought Joey. After hearing this, Albie refuses and offers to train Joey. Albie was able to plough the field. The Narracott family needs money and has plans of planting turnips in their rocky bottom field. Ted promises the landlord, Lyons that the debts will soon be paid. So Albie works hard training the horse and finally Joey is able to plough the whole field. But because they can't afford to pay all the debts, Ted makes up his mind to sell Joey to the captain soldier who is Captain Nicholls. Will fate bring Joey and Albie back together again?

This movie has lots of dramatic scenes between Albie and Joey. They made those scenes more emotional and tender by their great acting. The actors in this movie were all able to move people's heart. Due to their fascinating acting skills, some of the actors from this movie won awards as the result. The behind reasons of their heartfelt and marvelous acting scenes were also helped by the camera angles. The camera angles create different kinds of effects in a situation, which may tell a story into various stories. By different types of camera angles, we are able to communicate in various expressions through our vision. For example, there was a scene using the extreme close up shot, which showed the details of what the director wanted the viewers to focus in that scene. The actors are able to create scenes with more powerful expressions according to the situations through the help of the camera angles.

This movie is really worth seeing. Some people may say that this is a childish fictional story but they wouldn't be able to stop the movie because even though it is a fictional movie, it will still touch the bottom of your heart. You shouldn't miss it because the bond between human and animal, which the production treats so movingly, is bound to touch our hearts!

Who should be blamed on?

On the 8th of September 2013, a 13-year-old boy was caught in a car accident with the death of 7 people. His name is Abdul Qodier Jaelani (also known as Dul), the youngest son of Ahmad Dhani. This accident happened when he was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer on his way back home from Bogor to Jakarta. It happened at around 00:45. The cause of this crash is due to his high speed while crossing the toll road. His car crashed to a road divider, which turned his car to opposite side of the road with the collision of two cars. In this case, I think Dul’s father should be responsible and should be blamed on.

First, driving fewer than 18+ is illegal in the laws of Indonesia’s Government. Every citizen of Indonesia sure would know this. Without the driving license, we are not able to drive. Of course, Ahmad Dhani also know about the existence of this law in this country. The problem is, even though he knew about this, he still gave the permission to drive. Well, let’s say that he actually didn't know what was going on. Maybe he didn’t actually give his permission to let him drive. But it’s still his fault for not making him sure or makes him notice that driving under age is illegal and is dangerous.

Secondly, his father paid the damages from the car accident anyway. We all know, he is still 13, which is not that old enough yet. Every child who made mistakes or who went through accidents, sure were all paid and solved by their parents. They would not be able to blame the little children with such young age, they will probably blame their parents for not teaching them well the right things that are supposed to be in that way.

People might say that he is too young to make proper decisions by himself or he is actually having his puberty period that affects the human minds’ lag in making decisions, which caused him in making a irresponsible choice. Well, I agree, that’s true. However, we can’t blame on him due to this natural phenomena happening in all people’s bossy development stages. That is natural. People make mistakes. But the others around them give advice or warnings to make sure they won’t repeat the same thing. Ahmad Dhani, as a father should’ve paid more attention on him, because he is Dul’s father. In other way, which means a good role model and a good background for him in continuing in his life. Yes, and I know he is 13. He is young and he can make irresponsible decisions. But in another way around, because he is still young and he didn’t really knew about the outer world which is wilder than the inner world, the father should’ve told him the things that he should and shouldn’t do. Even though he has a busy life, he still has his role as a father too. And I think being the best father for his son is the best thing he can do.

I would like to conclude that in this case, Ahmad Dhani, who is Dul’s father should be blamed on and should take the responsibility because mostly, parents should be taking the consequences and the responsibility of their children no matter what, because they are their supervisor of their lives and it’s a fact that, any damages from the mistakes or accidents caused by young-aged children, will be all paid by their parents as they not know well as their parents and because they do not have experiences as they are still young.

9. Make sure to add the milk according to the amount of the flour
10. Stir with knife (MAKE SURE TO USE KNIFE AND DON'T STIR TOO MUCH)
11. Pour a little milk while you flatten the flour on the tray
12.  Cut into sections and brush with milk (I did it in square sides but actually you should do triangles for cones.. When cutting it, you don't need to make it separated because it will automatically be separated into pieces after it is baked).
13. Bake for around 20~25 mins and you're done :D
This is my result of baking scones:

Let me introduce my pet :)

I just want to introduce my pet, her name is Zibi. She came to my family when I was in the 5th grade. My mum's friend left her with us because they had move. I don't really know why she is called Zibi but I like it :) She is white and she understands Korean. I was amazed. Well, one thing that I can't understand is that she likes to get into plastic bags. Any plastic bags. I'm trying to find out the reason why. Another things is that she has different eye colors which are blue and yellow. Do you have a pet too?
